Criteria for having an entry in the Directory:

Individuals and company leads (OTs, OTAs/OT Techs, Students and Volunteers)
Individuals must have a current CRB check, within the last 2 years – we will require a copy to confirm on the Directory. GFI can action this for you if you do not have one - see our webpage at www/goingforindependence.org/CRB for more information.
OT Companies/ Businesses must have a CRB policy for ensuring that staff and Associates have the relevant level of CRB for the work they do on behalf of the organisation. Please send us a copy. There is a template available for GFI Association Members on the website.
The correct payment has been made for the Enhanced Entry (the Standard Entry is free)

If you have signed up for Membership of the GFI Association the total extra cost for an Enhanced Directory Entry including linking to a website will be an additional £20.00 per annum.

2. Photo/ Logo – please send a digital image electronically as above

3. Select additional categories of work – select up to 4 more from all that apply from the Categories of Work list and send this to us in your email ( these will be highlighted and more can be covered in your profile information)

The charges shown are the 12 month /annual subscription rates for the financial year 2011 (valid till April 2012). Rates may change in subsequent years but you will be notified in advance and in writing of any such changes.

You may have an entry on the directory without membership of the GFI Association but you must have a current CRB check/policy in place.

There is no charge for a Standard Entry on the Directory. If you have an Enhanced Entry you will need to send another payment after one year to continue your entry / membership. GFI will email a reminder to you - we plan to set up payment online shortly.
Should you wish to cancel or amend your Membership or Directory Entry or you have any queries you can email admin@goingforindependence.org at any time. Your membership will then be amended/ cancelled with effect from the end of that current month.

GFI Association Membership login
Providing an email address is essential. On clearance of your application form for the GFI Association and payment we will send you an email with your user name and login password.
Membership will be activated from your first log in and be renewable from this date the following year.

GFI Association Membership is subject to fully completing the application form, providing the required information for registration in the appropriate categories and making the appropriate payment.
