Children's Therapy Services

GFI has links with Paediatric specialist OTs who provide assessment and treatment services for children and young people across London and the south east of England.


Experienced Children's Therapists provide specialist input tailored to your child’s specific needs - through therapy, treatment, fun, education and play.  Support is provided to families, empowering them to help their children reach their maximum potential.

Therapists specialise in a wide range of difficulties and conditions including:

 

-  Developmental Co-ordination Disorders (DCD)

-  Dyspraxia

-  Neurological and orthopaedic conditions

-  Autistic Spectrum Disorder

-  Sensory Integration Dysfunction

Our aim is to provide you and your child with the best and most suitable information and to signpost you to the right provision.

Services can be provided to both indivdual children and to groups in a variety of settings including Sure Start services, schools and nurseries, mother and baby clubs, or for special needs groups and charities.

Developmental Play

Developmental play sessions explore children’s development and understanding and promote experimental play.

This is a programme aimed at all children - not just those with specific needs.  Each session will be tailored to the requirements of the group depending on ages and any special requirements.
